When to schedule your shoot

West-facing homes look best in the early afternoon. East-facing homes shine in the morning, and north-facing homes early in the morning. Any home can benefit from twilight photos, either shot at sunset or created virtually.

FAQ

Common questions

We prefer three days’ notice so we can prepare properly. Ask about shorter timelines and we will do our best to fit you in.

It depends mainly on the size of the property. For most homes, plan on about an hour. Larger homes and commercial buildings take longer, and we will give you an estimate when you book.

With the homeowner’s permission, we often use a contractor’s lockbox to let ourselves in. Otherwise, you or the homeowner will need to be there to let us in at the appointment time.

Yes. Furnished or staged homes are usually more attractive, so if the home is vacant we recommend staging at least the main bedroom, bathrooms, living room and kitchen. We also offer virtual staging; just ask for a quote.

Cancelling or rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours’ notice. Inside 24 hours there is a $100 fee. If we arrive and cannot get into the property, or the shoot is cancelled on site, the charge is $100 plus 50% of the quoted amount.
